Dear Congregant,
I hope you recently received an invitation in the mail for the 2013 Tribute Dinner on Monday, June 10th beginning at 5:30pm. This year's event is entitled: Two Synagogues, One Family - Celebrating the First Anniversary of Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid. I am looking forward to a wonderful evening of camaraderie and a fantastic dinner by Sisterhood's Kehilla Catering.
The event this year is a little out of character for our recent tribute dinners. This year we thought it appropriate to instead hold a celebration of all we have collectively accomplished during this first year together as CBINT. While there are no specific honorees, the dinner is in fact a tribute to every single one of you who contributed to the amazing success we have had in joining the spiritual families of Congregation Beth Israel and Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue.
As the summer begins the dinner will allow us to pause from our hectic efforts and celebrate. During the dinner we will be reflecting on our accomplishments and looking forward to the exciting future we have together. I hope you all will be able to attend. Please RSVP by Friday May 17th to the office.
To commemorate the event we will also be compiling a booklet of messages. Please consider contributing to the book by including a message regarding your thoughts on the first year of CBINT. The booklet will become a memento documenting the impact of CBINT on our lives after this first year. You can write your message on the response card included with your invitation or call the office directly. Please consider a full, half or quarter page message or simply a personal tribute message. All proceeds will help support our vibrant community and assist us as we continue to grow to better serve the needs of our community.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you all on June 10.
Sincerely,
Nathaniel Sattler
President, Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid
