Rabbi Herber leads the way as Bob Peterman & Nat Sattler carry the Torahs into the sanctuary, and ultimately to the ark of Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid.  Members of the newly combined congregation escort them by carrying raised tallitot.

A Welcome Message from Nat Sattler, President

I am very excited to welcome our friends from Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue as we begin a new chapter in Milwaukee Jewish community history together as Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid!

I know this has been an emotional time for everyone, including me, as we have many fond memories at Beth El going back a long time and the decision by Beth El members to make a change this significant couldn't have been easy. I am proud to have been a part of the effort to strengthen Conservative Judaism in Milwaukee and to ensure that the history of Beth El is preserved as part of a living, thriving congregation.

We will do everything we can to welcome our new friends and make them feel at home.
