Planned Giving

Planned giving, also known as deferred giving, allows you to create a gift plan for the benefit of Congregation Beth Israel within your larger estate plan. An extensive array of planned giving vehicles enable you and your family to save money in taxes and at the same time support Congregation Beth Israel by providing a significant gift that will be used exactly as you intend.

Congregation Beth Israel (CBI) has established four endowment funds to assist donors in directing gifts to specific areas of interest.  Gifts to CBI can be directed to one or all of our four CBI endowment funds.

  • CBI Endowment Fund

Provides endowment funds for CBI’s usage, to be approved by our membership

  • CBI Rabbinic Chair Endowment Fund

Supplements CBI’s long term ability to sustain an excellent Rabbi of high standards

  • CBI Adult Education Endowment Fund

Supplements long term costs of Adult Education Programs

  • CBI Youth Education & Programs Endowment Fund

Supplements long-term costs of our youth programming and education needs

Gifts can also be directed to support CBI’s operational expenses or to pay off CBI’s outstanding debt.

  • Gift to support CBI’s daily operations

Supports CBI’s annual operating expenses

  • Gift to retire CBI’s outstanding debt

Lowers the debt that CBI pays interest on each year

We encourage you to consult with your financial advisors to fully explore the options that are best for you.
